FIRST STEP SUCCESSFULLY TAKEN: PAMPLONA PRESENTS ITS CANDIDACY PROJECT

Pamplona.

Pamplona is now an official candidate to become European Capital of Culture. At last, and meeting the Ministry of Culture deadline, Pamplona has presented its candidacy project, a dossier which complies with the requirements form and a video explaining the details of the candidacy. The presentation of this documentation is the first step on the path towards being nominated to become European Capital of Culture.

The next big dates will be the 28th, 29th and 30th of September, when a delegation from Pamplona will defend the candidacy before a jury. The jury will then release its decision as to which candidacies and which cities should go on to the final round.

But for the time being, you can take a look at a summary of the project presented, the work of many months working in close collaboration with the culture sector and which reflects a major group effort and outlines the main axes on which culture will rest in the mid term.

Browse through this mini-dossier and find out everything you need to know about Pamplona’s European Capital of Culture Candidacy Project!
